Graham Hunt was on peg 30 right on the fence by Swineford bridge, he fished a crowquill with small balls of groundballs and castor for a brilliant bag of Roach
Martin Rayett was on peg 18 in the 2nd field at Swineford and he caught roach and big chub on a waggler and maggot feeder.

Darren Gilman was on peg 12 in the little donkey field opposite the mouth of the Marina. He balled in 10 balls and fished a pole at 13mtrs with castor and worm, for his amazing weight of 89.01, he caught 15 Bream up to 5lb each, Skimmers and Hybrids.
Steve Skelton was next to Darren on peg 11, he also had an amazing weight of Bream & Skimmers. He caught his fish down the middle of the river on a crowquill feeding small balls of ground bait and castor.
Paul Purchase was on peg 66, he fished the pole with castor at 11.5mtrs having balled it 1st. He had 4 Bream up to 6lb, Skimmers and Roach.

Kevin Boltz of Amalgamated Fisheries, was drawn at peg 63 at Newbridge, he balled 10 balls at 13 mtrs, and fished the pole with castor for a brilliant weight of 45lb 11oz. Kevin caught steadily on the pole, he had Roach, Skimmers and a Bream about 31/2lb, He then switched to the feeder and caught 6 Bream in the last hour.
Rob Mann of Sensas Wiltshire Angling, drew peg 10 at Swineford, he fished the ground bait feeder over, with castor and worm for his lovely bag of Skimmers & Bream.

The river fished very hard today with a lot of very smaller weights. It was definitely a Thyers day today. Paul Purchase and Mark Bromsgrove both of Sensas Thyers joint won the match with 18lb 02 oz each.
Paul was pegged at no 26 at Newbridge, he fished a pole at 13meters for Roach Perch and 1 Bream, he then fished a feeder ¾ across with chopped worm and castor for 2 more Bream, one went 71/2lb.
Mark was pegged at no 46 at Newbridge, he fished a feeder down the middle with maggot and worm for his bag of Skimmers, Eels Perch & 3 Bream.

Nathaniel Johnson of Preston Innovation Thatchers won the 5th round today. Nathaniel was pegged in the bay at Darlington Wharf. He started on the pole with bread at 6mtrs, catching Roach, and finished on Castor and Joker across to the reeds. He caught steadily all day and his fish included a 2lb Roach and Skimmers.
Liam Bradell of Preston Innovation Thatchers was pegged outside of the George at Bathampton. He started on the pole at 6.5 mtrs on bread where he had about 8 or 9lb of Roach & Skimmers, when it died he started fishing at 9 mtrs still on bread for the remainder of his bag of Skimmers and Roach.

Winner on the day was Kevin Boltz of Amalgamated Fisheries, Kevin drew by the bridge at Meadow Farm, where he caught Skimmers and Roach at 4 mtrs on bread, he had 5lb in the 1st hour. He then fished tight over on worm, Castor, or Pinkie for a couple more Skimmers and the rest of his bag of fish.
Runner up on the day was Andy Britt of Maver Bathampton, he was pegged opposite the School at Bathampton, he fished at 4mtrs on bread, catching Skimmers up to 2lb and Roach. He then fished the bottom of the far shelf, alternating his bait of castor and bloodworm, for his bag of fish.
Team wise it was very close with Thyers and Thatchers drawing on overall points, but Thyers won overall thanks to 3 match wins.
