Veterans Match at Tockenham Lake on the 14th August 2008
28 fished, the weather was good but there was a westerly breeze. Results were not as good as expected possibly due to a recent influx of a lot of cold water, the results were:-

Name
Weight
1st R C Wiliams 16lb 9ozs
2nd T Slocombe 14lb 11ozs
3rd B Milton 14lb 6ozs
4th B Jee 9lb 3ozs
5th L Voller 6lb 8ozs

The Veterans thoroughly enjoyed their days fishing and also had the benefit of an Air Show (Families Open Day at Lyneham).
It can be said perhaps the only fishing match to receive a display by the Red Arrows.
We all returned to The White Hart pub at Lyneham for the prize giving and a really superb buffet.
