This Tench was caught on the pole at Tockenham Lake on Friday 27th May 2011 by James Diston. What a challenge to net it. In the end Dad Kevin helped get it in. Believed to be around 5lb. Kevin Diston

A few Tockenham fish photos of Tricky and Rat (Richard and Jack Pinchis) mostly caught in the last year and a half and couple from way back when I still had hair!
Fish range in weight from very small but nice up to 25lb . Including a nice orange carp weighing in at about 7lb.

Pike capture 24lb 8ozs / Crane stretch of the Avon / January 3rd 2011
Whilst on a piking trip with my son last Monday I managed to hook a personal best pike on float fished mackerel bait, it weighed in at 24lb 8ozs - Ron Tempest. St George, Bristol.

Richard Pinchis again at Tockenham

Just going through some pictures of carp caught on one of your waters and I came across these two. Both caught on Luncheon meat at Sabre Lake. The bigger one was just a whisker over 20lb, the smaller one wasn't weighed. The tench was also caught on meat at Sabre and was also unweighed. Be great to see them on the website. -- Steve Goral

Here are some pictures of 2 carp I caught at Pawlett Ponds on 31st May 2010 . A mirror carp 7lb caught off the top with pop up fed under a bush for an hour on the the big lake.
6lb common carp caught on pellet on the small lake by the reeds. Pawlett is looking good enjoying fishing there very much.

The Cam at Dunkerton – this is long stretch of wonderfully clear trout stream that to the adventuring angling offers excellent fly fishing and float fishing for Trout and Chub. I attach some photos of fish caught this year. Despite the small size of stream the trout (brown and rainbow) go over 2lb and I have witnessed Chub in excess of 4lb. All my fish have been caught on nymph or dry fly fished upstream. - Mike Prior

Recently I caught a 15 lb mirror carp from Tockenham Lake. I caught right at the end on free lined maggots it put up a brilliant scrap. I caught it from right down in the margins. This is a new PB and I am so proud of this. It was in perfect condition and looked like it has never been caught before. 12lbs 9oz caught at Limpley Stoke as you can see it was a very long fish. It was in very good condition and would probably be much larger at the tail end of the season. Kenny Parsons - September 2008	13 lb 12 oz mirror caught on a 6 mtr whip and 6 lb line on floating bread at the Sabre Lake, what a fight, but well worth it. Jane Houston - August 2008	Scott Grubb with a 10lb 2oz mirror carp caught on floating bread at Sabre Lake July 2008 Scott also caught 3 others on the same day at Sabre Lake weighing in 6lb 7ozs - 3lb 3ozs - 3lb 2ozs clearly a good day for him.
